Sweeney spotted Ichabod on the park bench, nervously glancing around and obviously awaiting the barber's arrival. Sweeney's scowl softened, but didn't completely vanish, for he wasn't fond of being outside, in fact, he hated it, but Ichabod had wanted to meet with him here, so he'd deal with it for now.
Ichabod was twisting his pale hands in his lap, glancing up at Todd before letting his gaze fall towards the razor Todd was playing with, running his fingers along the edges. Ichabod ignored it, though passers-by stared, he knew it made Todd feel more at ease. "What did you want to talk about?" Sweeney grumbled, not looking at the constable. "Sweeney, I..." Ichabod began, before suddenly blurting "Mr. Todd, do you love me?" Sweeney looked at him then, his eyes turning gentle. "What do you think?"
Ichabod blushed lightly as Sweeney brushed his fingers along his jaw, guiding Ichabod's mouth to his. "Do you not know how beautiful you really are?" Ichabod's blush deepened as he smiled shyly, "When I'm with you, I do." "Then that's all the answer you need." Sweeney whispered as their lips met.
